This place has mishandled me in so many ways. All of this transpired on the first ever visit. First, I gave the front desk my id card, but it somehow disappeared. I went to the manager about my missing id and she just said she would talk to the lady about it. Then, the first person to take my blood said she couldn’t find a vein. She proceeded to say I have damaged scar tissue. I had to get poked in three different areas to not get enough blood. These people working here and the phone service doesn't know how to do their jobs, I wonder on how they can get this job, and still don't know what to do. My parents-in-laws went here and not only they got very poor service and being rushed out by the staff and the doctors. My parents-in-law are 70 years old! If this is how they treat their senior patients, then, they should not be working here at all. I lost my job after the company shut down and I was left with no insurance. I went to Church Health Center and I have been with them for over a year. They have been so kind and the staff is full of insight and the quality of care has been nothing but perfect. I had all kind of issues going on and I had to have surgery. I was worried about the bill and I was allowed to pay monthly. I love the staff and my doctor's were amazing. I have another job now with affordable health coverage, so I have to say my goodbyes. I was a patient at the original location on Peabody for many years. I was always treated fairly and the staff was helpful. So now in 2025 they have a big new facility with all kinds of trendy and hipster shops all around them. Well, I suppose that's ok and not a problem really. But it doesn't seem like a fitting place to have a medical care facility. The worst part is trying to park. Next-none of the medical rooms (there are multiple ones) are clearly marked. The church health care center took great care of my mother until the end. From Dr. Jennings to Dr. Swanigan, perfect care was rendered. Church health is a great place for those without insurance. Quality professionalism and they make you feel at home.
