Where else would you stay? The Peabody is the premier hotel in Memphis! There is no where else that I would consider staying while visiting Memphis. The restaurants are very good and the location is superb.
""A historic landmark for the city"" This hotel is the premium hotel of Memphis. It's amazing views, amenties, and convience of the new added Peabody Place make it the jewel of the city's downtown. If you have a little extra to splurge on your stay its worth and if not at least go a visit it while your in town.
The amenities are lacking with no whirlpool, permanently closed, and the sauna is out of order going on three months! Maintenance seems to be absent from the business plan.
