First time visitor to Memphis wasn’t sure what hotel we should be checking into however thoroughly delighted with booking Napoleon, who’s rates were very competitive. Despite some renovation work going on the hotel was clean with nice large rooms and big TV with available HDMI port for own device. Bed was super comfy. Staff were excellent, extremely polite and very helpful, particularly Rocky whose enthusiasm and humour is infectious - he’s also a great source of information about this great city. I had the opportunity to stay here and was truly amazed at how friendly all the staff were. The rooms are very tidy, along with the rest of the hotel. There are many enjoyable places to eat within walking distance. The only downside is the parking but the hotel stated this was changing in the near future. While I was there a couple unexpected and unpleasant events happened outside of the control of the hotel and what set this entire place apart from all other hotels is how Micky personally followed through with my concerns. ... read more
Booked a place for today. Arrived and drove into a-hem, unexpected mess. No access from the garage to unload your items. All in the redevelopment stages, and a shady part of Memphis. Requested a refund and informed that "There would be no refund" Wait a few months or a year until the whole area is developed. Never stepped inside the place, so cannot give a review. I would not recommend going after sunset. Sorry Memphis but that's one for the books.
Do not book at this hotel. My husband and I reserved a suite. The room was an accessible room- all the non-accessible rooms were taken. We were expecting a room that matched the photos but would be more spacious and upscale. Apparently, suites are ground level, which means your windows are able to be easily accessed from the street. Beds were cozy and soft. Rooms were very clean. Service was immaculate. Nicely located if you’re looking to hit up Beale Street.
