I had the opportunity to stay here and was truly amazed at how friendly all the staff were. The rooms are very tidy, along with the rest of the hotel. There are many enjoyable places to eat within walking distance. The only downside is the parking but the hotel stated this was changing in the near future. While I was there a couple unexpected and unpleasant events happened outside of the control of the hotel and what set this entire place apart from all other hotels is how Micky personally followed through with my concerns. ... read more
Do not book at this hotel. My husband and I reserved a suite. The room was an accessible room- all the non-accessible rooms were taken. We were expecting a room that matched the photos but would be more spacious and upscale. Apparently, suites are ground level, which means your windows are able to be easily accessed from the street. Also, the furniture was decrepit - there were warps in the furniture and paint was chopping. Also, the decor was gaudy and old. We were busy with family graduations, so we didn't check out all the amenities. The staff at the Cafe and throughout the hotel were all super nice. Great location, see my comments on walkability! The parking garage is a public one, so if there is a big game or event- keep that in mind.
My wife and I stayed here for an event happening at the Orpheum. We had an absolutely pleasant stay. The entire staff was very friendly and courteous. We didn't walk much as our event was late at night but it was very well lit around the hotel and there seemed to be a decent amount of places to walk to for food, etc. I would absolutely stay here again in the future and I hope that we get the chance to.
We stayed at Hotel Napolean for 2 nights last week as part of a 3-city vacation. Overall the experience was "fine" with some pros and some cons, though keep in mind that this is not a very expensive hotel so expectations should be lowered. - The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating throughout.
