The cranberry-walnut-goat cheese trio on the salad is divine! Loved that vegetarians are very welcome here - many options (starters, salads, pizzas) Really liked the interior: nice details, paintings, mirrors. Service was fast and attentive, listened to all requests.
Service was kind of slow. The appetizer we had ordered was never put into the system so we never got them. The steak sandwich was incredibly dry. The pizza was decent but overpriced. Overall, a very lack luster experience. I had read many good reviews before my visit to Oxford and I do not think that this place lived up to the hype of the reviews.
I am Italian so a good Italian restaurant is really important to me. I went to have a late Lunch with my friends and it was amazing. Some friends recommend we try the mozzarella sticks and let me tell you, they are the best mozzarella sticks I ever had. Our waitress was lovely and the environment was very nice. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as our appetizer and they were unlike any mozzarella stick I've had before. They lacked a little flavor but the cheese was so weirdly soft, I liked it and thought it was nice cause I've never had a cheese stick that stayed soft through the whole time eating it. The food is horrible. Might as well be the McDonald’s of Italian food. Meatballs are rubbery, all the food is saturated in oil and grease, veggies undercooked, pasta under sauced, plus they don’t serve the correct pasta listed on the menu. For example, their “angel hair” is standard spaghetti noodles, not angel hair. AND THERE ARE FLYS EVERYWHERE! in your drink, on the table, landing on you, it’s disgusting. 10/10 would not recommend.
